MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR & CAPTAIN

MIKE

Mike’s connection to the water began with his first dives in 1995. He became a divemaster and instructor in 2001, turning a love of exploration into a passion for helping others discover the underwater world.

As the founder of Diamond Cove Scuba in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Mike focuses on patient instruction, practical skills, and sound decisions. His approach gives divers time to build comfort, buoyancy, and confidence while preparing for the conditions they will actually encounter.

Mike is an SDI/TDI Instructor (#42254) and a U.S. Coast Guard 100-Ton Master with Sail and Assistance Towing endorsements. When teaching and planning local dives, he values preparation, teamwork, and respect for the water.

Outside of teaching, Mike enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and sharing adventures with fellow divers. He feels most at home in and on the water—and helping others feel at home there, too.

A LOVE FOR THE WATER

DISCOVER IT. LOVE IT. PROTECT IT.

Mike’s goal is to help people discover a love for the water, understand the world beneath its surface, and want to protect it. That purpose connects Diamond Cove’s scuba instruction and Underwater Explorers STEM program.

OUR SHOP REMODEL

A LITTLE ADVENTURE ABOVE THE SURFACE.

Our remodel plans bring a buddy team to the center of the shop: a sidemount diver leading a black Dolphin rebreather diver, suspended above cave-inspired rock formations with blue lighting. Explore different equipment setups and find inspiration for your next dive.
